Eterna has released a limited edition reimagining of its historic military pilots watch, the Majetek, under the name Heritage Military.
Originally created for Czechoslovakian military pilots in 1939 at the behest of the government of the day, the Majetek continues to attract interest from customers in the present day which has led to Eterna creating the new model for “history buffs and connoisseurs of memorabilia”.
The Heritage Military is described as a subtle improvement on the original with a 40mm brushed and polished steel case framing a black dial with hands and markers coated in green luminous compound. Only a date window at 6 o’clock and a black leather strap differ from the original Czech model.
A second version is available with black PVD coating and a brown leather strap. As the original watch was created in 1939, 1,939 pieces will be created in each design and retail for £1,200.
