Eterna recalls the date and location of its foundation for 160th anniversary watch

Eterna is celebrating its 160th anniversary this year. The brand can trace its ancestry back to its foundation in Granges in 1856, a location and date that explain the name of the limited edition Grange 1856 timepiece that has been created to mark this landmark year.

The watch, which uses the Eterna 3030 calibre, is designed, produced and assembled by Eterna in ten different polished steel models.

It is available in Roman or Arabic numerals with a radiant silver, anthracite, midnight blue or light bronze dial background.

Steel, brown or black calf leather alligator pattern straps are all options.

The Calibre 3030 automatic is Eterna’s thinnest mechanical movement. A key feature is its large date display, created using two independent number disks, which make them more readable.

The 42mm watches retail for £4400 with a leather strap and £4600 with a steel bracelet.

  1. I’m sure that the Watch Pro correspondent has missed two key salient features of this Eterna introduction … Namely the ability to have the watch case personalised and the fact that it is only available to purchase directly from Eterna themselves!

“The watches are available for purchase solely through the Eterna website.”

Is there any Eterna stockist involvement?
