Elliot Brown adds firepower to its sales operation in Ireland, Scotland and the North East

British watchmaker Elliot Brown has added two agents to grow sales in Ireland, the North East of England and Scotland.

Patrick McHale, a specialist in building sales for jewellery brands, will operate in Ireland.

Nick Bassett, an industry veteran who works with Argento Fine Products, will cover Scotland and the North East.

Mr McHale started work in the Irish watch and jewellery sector after a career in sales and marketing within the advertising world.

Mr Bassett has spent 28 years in retail, most recently building sales for Frederique Constant and Alpina before they were taken inhouse following their acquisition by Citizen Watch Company.

He also spent many years with HL Brown Group, Goldsmiths and Preston & Duckworth.

Guy Allen, head of sales for Elliot Brown says: “The exciting acceleration in growth we’re seeing means we wanted to get some extra boots on the ground. Patrick and Nick will offer much needed support to our existing team and make sure we continue to offer the level of customer support our authorised stockists enjoy.  We’re delighted to welcome them as sales agents into the Elliot Brown fold. Both are respected watch specialists with many successful years in the industry that we can only benefit from.”

Co-founder of Elliot Brown Watches, Ian Elliot adds: “It’s fantastic to have developed professional relationships with Nick and Patrick having known them for so many years. The future certainly looks rosy with such capable people backing our growth and representing the brand.”
