Ebel was flying off the shelves at Eric N Smith Jewellers in Glasgow last week, with five pieces selling in as many days.
The feat is an impressive one in its own right for the predominantly female-orientated Swiss brand, but given the calibre of brands stocked at Eric N Smith, which include Rolex, Tudor and Longines, it is a big feather in the cap for Ebel.
Ebel’s brand manager in the UK, Laurence Brannigan, expressed his delight at the news when talking to WatchPro. “As the brand manager I am extremely happy to see this success of which the ‘New Wave’ has been a key driver due to its lower entry price point. Coupled with the best sellers of the existing Classic collection, it offers exceptional value for money for a Swiss luxury brand.”
Ebel is owned by Movado Group International and distributed by MGS in the UK.
