Early success for Scottish brand Kartel

Fledgling Scottish-inspired watch brand Kartel is reflecting on a strong performance in the first four months of the year.

The brand, which is part of Scottish company Tyko’s portfolio of watches, has backed up its positive sales results by offering a three-year warranty on all its watches.

Kartel has put its success down to its fresh and authentic approach, combined with its sub-£100 price tag.

It says that it is in advanced negotiations with “several major high street retailers who are planning to launch later in the year.”

The brand continued: “We are committed to working closely with key strategic partners here in the UK to develop an established distribution network, one that allows consumers to easily access the Kartel collection. We know from experience the importance of working with partners who share the values of the brand to ensure longevity and brand integrity

One person who has noticed the good work of the Kartel team is Anna Lyly, watch buyer at Watches2U. “I’m very impressed with how well the brand has performed so far,” she said.
