Dreweatts sale promises a number of sparkling lots

Auctioneers Dreweatts & Bloomsbury will be offering a number of tempting lots for watch lovers at the company’s next sale later this month.

A vintage 1960s Rolex Air King [lot 496] is described as being in ‘perfect refinished’ condition and is estimated to sell for between £1,000 and £1,500, while a modern steel and gold Rolex Daytona [lot 503] has an estimate of £2,500-£3,000 attached and a ladies gold Rolex Yachtmaster [lot 501] is estimated to sell for between £2,000-£3,000.

A number of jewel-encrusted watches are also sure to create a buzz amongst buyers including a fine art deco diamond cocktail bracelet dating from the 1930s [lot 473] is estimated at £1,000-£1,500 whilst modern diamond watches from Piaget [lot 487] and Parmigiani Fleurier [lot 482] each have attached estimates of £4,000-£6,000.

An antiquarian timepiece from John Sived with fine enamel painting from 1775 [lot 450] is expected to sell for £2,000-£3,000 and a gold Breguet-style quarter repeater open-face watch [lot 454] has an estimate of £2,500-£2,500.

The Dreweatts & Bloomsbury sale of Fine Jewellery, Watches, Pens & Luxury Accessories will take place at its Donnington Priory salesroom on Thursday 26 March.
