Digital issue of WatchPro April issue online now

April’s issue of WatchPro magazine is now available to read online, packed with all the same news, features, trends and timepieces as the standalone magazine.

In this, our second standalone issue as the UK’s only dedicated B2B watch magazine, we delve into the world of sports watches and ask whether retailers should be wise to make the most of consumers looking to get fit or getting inspired by the impending Olympic Games.

We continue the sport theme with an interview with Omega’s president Stephen Urquhart about its sponsorship of the Games, while this month’s in-depth interview gets to know president of Ck Watches and Jewelry, Arlette-Elsa Emch from the very beginnings of the brand to its 15th anniversary celebrations taking place in 2012.

Another brand celebrating this year is Fortis, with Rob Corder tracing the brand’s history from Grenchen to the International Space Station.

WatchPro also translates the changes to the Geneva Seal and what the new regulations will mean for Swiss-made watch brands.

Finally, we review the best timepieces of BaselWorld 2012, while revealing this month’s line-up of stellar timepieces worth a second look at watch retailers and specialists, with new timepieces by Fendi, Chronoswiss, Chopard, Tissot, Certina and Michael Kors.
