Delance founder Giselle Rufer is clearly a fan of the British monarchy as her latest creation, Kate, takes inspiration from the Duchess of Cambridge.
According to Rufer, Kate honours Catherine Duchess of Cambridge. Two blue sapphires set within the bezel of the watch mark the times when her two children, Prince George and Princess Charlotte, were born while the blue sapphire at the six o’clock position ‘evokes the love of William’.
The stainless steel watch features a blue mother of pearl dial, domed sapphire crystal and can be supplied with either an ETA quartz or a handwound Piguet 8.10 movement by special order. The Kate model can be worn with either the stainless steel bracelet or an interchangeable blue leather strap. Kate is water resistant to 30m and is supplied with a five year guarantee.
