British Olympic gold medal-winning sailor, Ben Ainslie, is set to make an appearance at the opening champagne reception of SalonQP on November 8th.
Ainslie, who won his fourth Olympic gold this summer in London, will be presented with a limited edition watch on the evening by Corum, who have an historical association with Ainslie.
The Admiral’s Cup Legend 42 Tourbillon Micro-Rotor in steel set to be gifted to Ainslie is one of only 75 pieces. The brand said that the event will further enhance its strong relationship with Ainslie, which has spanned almost 10 years.
The event is one of a number of presentations and talks due to take place at the watch exhibition next week. Harry Winston will also showcase its Opus 12 timepiece, while a film about George Daniels’ life as a watchmaker will also be premiered.
