This month’s Fellows Watch Sale is set to offer highly sought-after watches with collectors in mind.
The auction house picked out pieces from Rolex and Vacheron Constantin as the highlights of the January sale.
Vacheron Constantin will offer a highly collectable American 21 watch, considered by many to have been designed as a ‘driver’s’ watch.
Apparently, just 12 of these pieces were made and sold between 1921 and 1931. The American 21 watch is offered for sale at £28,000 – £38,000
Rolex holds strong at the start of this year with its representation in this auction. Over 70 watches and accessories in this sale are from the Swiss watchmaker.
Fellows will also be offering Rolex’s ‘Padellone’ watch, this particular model being one of only two triple date moon phase models Rolex ever produced. It is entered for sale at £45,000 – £65,000.
A number of other Rolex’s make up additional lots for the auction, which is expected to attract a strong number of collectors.
