Citizen targets UK shopping centres for festive campaign

Citizen has launched a huge outdoor advertising campaign featuring brand ambassador Katherine Jenkins OBE in the run-up to Christmas.

The six-week campaign, which includes digital screen experiences at Birmingham’s Bullring, Bluewater in Kent, the Arndale Centre in Manchester, Intu Metro Centre in Gateshead, the Intu centres in Derby, Bromley and Newcastle, Kingfisher shopping centre in Redditch and Whitgift in Croydon, supports Citizen’s current television advertising campaign.

As well as highlighting Citizen’s flagship ladies L Sunrise collection the campaign also showcases the technology at the heart of its Satellite Wave World Time GPS watch.

The promotional activity will include competitions to win the featured watches and has a potential reach of over 25million consumers.

At Birmingham’s Bullring Citizen has secured a brand takeover for the second year running with an atrium banner, lift panel competition touch points and WiFi advertising. Bluewater will also run lift panel advertising.

The far-reaching campaign also features at seven central London Underground stations including Oxford Street, Bond Street, Waterloo, Victoria, London Bridge Kings Cross and Liverpool Street.
