Citizen goes underground with new campaign

Citizen is continuing its Christmas push with advertising across London Underground that is set to be seen by millions of commuters.

The brand is following up on the successful run of a similar London Underground campaign last year and said that it is “incredibly pleased” about the return of its Citizen Eco-Drive adverts.

The adverts will be grouped in rows of six and will be located at 24 locations, including Kings Cross, Baker Street and Marble Arch. They will feature two watches: the gents’ Red Arrows Skyhawk A.T., a radio controlled world time model, and the ladies’ Ciena Diamond model, set witgh 20 diamonds.

The campaign will feature Citizen’s brand ambassadors, The Red Arrows, Victoria Azarenka, Kevin Pietersen and Paula Creamer.

The brand is also running a Facebook advert encouraging users of the site to like its page by offering them the chance to win a watch by sending a text to the brand.

Mark Robinson, brand director for Citizen Watch UK, said: “We are really excited to have secured even more prime tube station locations than last year, ensuring our high profile campaign will continue to be seen by millions of people daily.

“Having six adverts in a row will drive brand awareness and ensure maximum exposure. This is crucial at such a key trading period for our retailers.”

Citizen last week announced its digital billboard Christmas campaigns at mall locations across the UK.
