Citizen fuels up retailers around RAF airshows

Citizen has created a limited edition chronograph to mark the 50th display season for the RAF’s Red Arrows.

The Chrono Time A.T Red Arrows timepiece is presented in original packaging inspired by the Royal Air Force Red Arrows pilot’s helmet with a bespoke Aspinal wallet. Only 1,000 will be made, with each watch and helmet individually numbered.

The launch of the new watch coincides with Citizen sponsoring RAF Airshows taking place throughout the summer across the UK.

Retailers in the area close to these airshows will be provided with Citizen Red Arrow assets and additional stock. “Citizen believes the shows will provide the perfect launch for the new watch model and anticipate a huge demand in sales,” the company says.

Citizen representatives will also attend selected shows, providing retailers with further support and knowledge of the dedicated Red Arrows collaboration.

Alongside this activity, Citizen has also chosen to run retailer advertorial pages in selected Air Show brochures as well as the official RAF 50th anniversary publication, to further advance awareness of the partnership and drive traffic to specific retail collaborators.
