Christopher Ward diversifies product range

British watch manufacturer Christopher Ward has introduced a collection of leather goods further diversifying its product offering.

The Mowbray Collection, which is named after the Leicestershire town in which the products are made and is available exclusively through the brand’s website, was introduced this month. The Christopher Ward website also offers watch winders and watch cases alongside watches.

Chris Ward, eponymous co-founder of the brand, said: “This year we celebrate our 10-year anniversary and The Mowbray Collection, like our watches, gives men our unique blend of quality and tremendous value expressed in the quintessentially English style that is at the heart of our watch collections.

“As with our watches, we wanted to create accessories that not only look fantastic but that men would love to hold and really want to use and cherish. I think Monica Larkin, the designer, has expressed those qualities beautifully.”

The Mowbray Collection includes iPad cases, wallets, document folders and small leather goods, with the whole collection offered in either cognac or black.

Larkin emphasises her passion for detail: “In my experience, men are far more particular than women when buying clothes and accessories, and I’m a real perfectionist, so every detail is considered – from the more obvious big aspects, such as the raw materials, right down to the intricacies of the stitch.”
