Chopard signs Rox as its second authorised retailer in Glasgow

Scottish jeweller Rox is launching Chopard at its flagship boutique in Glasgow in April.

Securing the Swiss jewellery and watch brand is a significant coup for co-owners Kyron Keogh and Grant Mitchell, who have worked their way up the luxury ladder from offering fashion watches when Rox launched in 2002, to selling top end marques such as Hublot, Audemars Piguet and Parmigiani today.

“Chopard is one of the most well-known and respected luxury brands in the world. We’ve been discussing this exciting partnership with Chopard for several years so, to be the chosen retailer of the brand at our flagship Argyll Arcade boutique, is very exciting. The world of Chopard is such an authority in craftsmanship, creativity and excellence, it ties so well with the Rox vision and values. We are thrilled to present this beautiful and iconic brand to our customers in Glasgow,” said Mr Keogh.

Rox becomes the second jeweller in Glasgow to sell Chopard. Mappin & Webb, also in Argyll Arcade is a long-standing partner, putting the two in competition for customers and for allocations of limited editions and key collections from Chopard.

Jeweller Eric N Smith is also an authorised retailer in the well-healed satellite town of Newton Mearns.

Jean-Baptiste Maillard, managing director, at Chopard UK, says Glasgow is an important market for the brand. “We are delighted to partner with Rox as Glasgow is a key city for the British market. I am confident Rox will be the ideal environment to showcase Chopard jewellery and watches, I hope this to be the beginning of a long-term and successful association.”
