Chisholm Hunter to open in Bluewater

Chisholm Hunter is set to open a store at the Bluewater shopping centre in Kent this week in what it has decribed as “a wider expansion programme” due to take place over the next six months.

The shop is due to open on October 31 and will create 14 new jobs. The opening brings the watch and jewellery retail chain’s store total to 18.

Chisholm Hunter director Tracey Brown said: “We have always wanted a store in Bluewater, which is Europe’s most exciting shopping destination and we are delighted we will have the doors open in time for the busy festive period.

“It is our intention to further expand into the south and we have more expansion plans throughout the UK and Scotland on the horizon.”

The Chisholm Hunter Bluewater store will carry a number of watch brands including Rado, Ebel, Oris, Raymond Weil, Ball, Graham, Hamilton, Certina, TW Steel, DKNY, Michael Kors, Armani, Hugo Boss and Ice-Watch.

Chisholm Hunter has grown its business over the past two years, opening stores in Aberdeen, Inverness and Silverburn, as well as refurbishing its stores in Nottingham, Chester and Manchester. It has also launched a new website and customer magazine.

In September directors Harry and Tracey Brown were named as Ti Sento Retail Stars in the Professional Jeweller Hot 100 2012 in association with The Company of Master Jewellers.
