Cartier crowns Mr Porter’s growing department of luxury watches

Mr Porter has been working its way up through Richemont’s stable of watch brands and has finally landed the commercial giant Cartier for its ecommerce platform. 

The partnership will begin with seven SKUs from the 2018 Santos de Cartier men’s watch collection that was unveiled at SIHH.

They will go on sale from April 5 and the line up will include exclusive models created for Mr Porter: medium- or large-sized steel Santos de Cartiers on black grained leather straps.

“We are thrilled to be launching with Cartier, a true reference within the world of luxury. The new Santos de Cartier watch is an authentic and contemporary re-working of a classic.” explains Toby Bateman, Mr Porter MD.

“This is an excellent opportunity to provide our global MR Porter customer with an iconic brand that we know they have been waiting for, and we look forward to launching further Cartier collections later in 2018.”

Mr Porter, part of the Yoox Net-A-Porter Group that is half owned by Richemont, now stocks Baume & Mercier, IWC, Jaeger-LeCoultre and Montblanc from the parent organisation.
