Bvlgari champions women’s watchmaking with record-breaking timepiece

Luxury watch and jewellery brand Bvlgari has raised a glass to a century of watchmaking with the release of a record-breaking timepiece.

The Italian brand has marked 100 years since the launch of its first watch by introducing the Diva Finissima. The new women’s watch has snapped up the title of the world’s slimmest self-winding watch, measuring 3.95mm.

The record-breaking calibre is developed and crafted by the Master Watchmakers of the Italian brand at the Manufacture in Le Sentier. The timepiece is designed to celebrate the first Bvlgari creations dating back to 1918 in the form of platinum jewellery watches adorned with diamonds.

Since its launch in 1918, Bvlgari has asserted itself as one of the key players in the realm of high-end ladies’ watches, notably with its Serpenti and Lvcea collections.

Bvlgari is strengthening its icons through a masterful association between its Lvcea line and the iconic Tubogas bracelet, several decades after it first began to adorn the brand’s watch creations, notably with the famous Bvlgari-Bvlgari and Serpenti Tubogas models.

On the men’s side, Octo Finissimo Tourbillon Automatic once again pushes all known Haute Horlogerie limits, while the new sandblasted Octo models magnify contemporary masculine elegance and Italian refinement.
