Bulgari tipped to shine at Chiswick Auctions sale

Chiswick Auctions is excited about a number of the lots ahead of its next sale of jewellery and watches on July 28.

After a gold Rolex Oyster stole the show at its equivalent auction in May, Chiswick Auctions is flagging up a couple of alternative brands that could hog the spotlight this time around.

One of these is Bulgari, whose 18ct gold Chronograph wristwatch (lot 86) is estimated to make £3,500-£4,500. With white multi-function dial, original ostrich skin strap and 18ct gold buckle, there’s every chance that this estimate could be on the conservative side.

Another item to look out for, according to Chiswick Auctions’ watch department, is lot 12, which is an 18ct gold-cased Jaeger-LeCoultre dress watch, circa 1960s. With gilt dial, baton markers, dart lugs and later leather stamp/buckle, the auctioneer estimates that the timepiece will make £300-£500.
