HIGHLY COMMENDED
Garrick has added a guilloche dial option to the Portsmouth line the British company launched last year.
The 2017 edition builds on the success of a watch that contained the company’s own hand-wound movement, the UT-G01.
The guilloche dial was first offered as a bespoke option available only on commission, but has been developed into a core model, albeit in a limited quantity of 20 pieces priced at £17,995.
There are 10 pieces with dials made from silver, and a further 10 made from anthracite.
The brand’s distinctive bevelled and thermally blued Maritime hands, made in-house and first seen on the Norfolk, are retained on the guilloche model.
