Bremont welcomes Americas Cup duo to Mayfair

Bremont, who this year is the Official Timing Partner of the America’s Cup, hosted Oracle Team USA’s skipper Jimmy Spithill at its flagship Mayfair boutique on Monday night.

The British luxury watch brand then welcomed America’s Cup event authority CEO Russell Coutts yesterday morning, a matter of days before Oracle Team USA prepares to race in the first of the America’s Cup World Series in Portsmouth on 25 and 26 July.

The America’s Cup trophy itself, which claims to be the oldest in international sport, was displayed at the Mount Street boutique on both days alongside the B2 Marine Clock, a new Marine Chronometer in celebration of Bremont’s involvement in the world famous sporting event.

Based on the original B1 Marine Chronometer, the B2 has been specially skeletonised to display more of the mechanism within the clock. English-made, the B2 sports with some unique features not normally found in marine clocks including; three time zones, 30 day power reserve, date, 90 day chronograph and all sealed in a water resistant case.
