Bremont has teamed up with the Great War Display Team for their 2018 calendar of airshows.
The air display team was created in 1988 and was originally called The Wombats. It was an ad hoc collection of aircraft including five SE5as, two Fokker Dr1s and a Fokker D7, many of them flown by the enthusiasts that built them. The team has grown and developed with other historic bi-planes and tri-planes joining and retiring from the squad.
It currently has five different types of aircraft available to fly within a total of nine. The team re-enacts World War II dog fights at events up and down the UK.
2018 is the 30th anniversary of the Great War Display Team and the centenary year of the Royal Air Force, making it an ideal year for Bremont to get involved.
“We are very excited about this new partnership and we look forward to working with Bremont for the 2018 season and into the future,” said team leader Gordon Brander.
