Bremont, Citizen and Nomos Glashutte took home accolades at last night’s UK Jewellery Awards, which took place the Grosvenor House Hotel.
British brand Bremont scooped the prize for Luxury Watch Brand of the Year for the second year running.
Giles English, co-founder of the brand, said: “The watch market is filled with some wonderful and unique brands and we are truly humbled to be voted this award two years in a row.
“We feel we really are creating something different and special in our watches but without the support of retailers and press we would not be in this position so a big thank you for all of the support we have been getting and I hope we can continue to add our small contribution to the history of British watch making.”
German watch brand Nomos Glashutte took home the highly commended accolade in the Luxury Watch Brand of the Year category. Other finalists included Arcadia Geneva, Grand Seiko and Meistersinger.
Citizen meanwhile was named Watch Brand of the Year from a group of finalists that included Casio, Seiko and Storm.
Last night also marked the launch of Bremont’s Victory watch in the UK, with the brand hosting an event at the HMS Portsmouth.
