Switzerland’s Fondation de la Haute Horlogerie had just 30 partner brands 18 months ago, but is now welcoming its 43rd associate with Breitling deciding to join the group.
Since 2005, the Fondation de la Haute Horlogerie (FHH) has pursued its mission to promote fine watchmaking worldwide to the industry and public.

FHH is the host organisation for SIHH, an annual fine watch exhibition that takes place in Geneva. Richemont uses SIHH, rather than Baselworld, to present its new collections across all maisons. Other FHH members including Audemars Piguet, Ulysse Nardin and Hermes have also exhibited at SIHH along with independents such as H. Moser, Urwerk, F.P. Journe and Ressence.
Breitling’s CEO Georges Kern, a former veteran of Richemont, is familiar with the format of SIHH and the wider series of events and showcases that have cropped up around the January exhibition.
With Baselworld’s future as a March exhibition under debate, there is growing momentum for SIHH and Baselworld to find a solution that brings the whole industry together in January. Breitling has an influential voice in those discussions.
