Breitling challenge 2014

Breitling sets gold standard for staff training

Breitling will present a kilogram of solid gold, worth nearly £25,000, to the joint winners of an annual competition held across the brand’s online training system.

The Breitling Challenge was launched in 2012, making use of Breitling’s online training platform. For the 2013 edition the competition attracted 8,000 of the brand’s sales persons across 118 countries in 15 languages.

The competition offers a playful way for sales people to test their knowledge of the brand and its collection with participants first answering 12 multiple-choice questions on subjects as varied as sales techniques, display-case arrangements or Breitling calibres.

Despite passing through two rounds of 100 questions and a further sudden death quiz of up to 600 questions in the course of a tougher third round, two participants tied for first prize in this year’s competition.

The winner will now be invited to Switzerland next to receive their prize; a one-kilo solid gold while regional winners will be presented with 11 Transocean 1461 Limited Edition watches.
