Breitling flies into Parkhouse’s shop windows

Cardiff’s Parkhouse the Jeweller has had it shop windows transformed in a marketing drive from Breitling, something it has dubbed “unashamedly bold” and traffic-stopping.

The retailer is one of Cardiff’s oldest family-run stores and this week it unveiled its new marketing campaign with its windows appearing blacked-out with Breitling artwork in the brand’s black and yellow colourway.

The store’s 15-foot floor-to-ceiling front windows were transformed into a Breitling-themed display featuring the luxury Swiss watchmaker’s iconic fighter jets flying across the glass.

Tony Watkins, general manager for Parkhouse the Jeweller in Cardiff, said: “As proud stockists of Breitling, we wanted to dedicate our shop windows to the iconic watchmaker.

“The window displays have proven extremely popular with the public and our shoppers, and have attracted an overwhelming amount of interest, and footfall has significantly increased as a result.”

The retailer said the effect had been traffic-stopping and was unashamedly bold. Breitling is housed within Parkhouse’s Watch Gallery, one of the largest specialist watch collections outside London.
