Boegli unveils first round dial musical timepiece

Swiss watch brand Boegli has launched its first model with a round dial and mechanical musical movement, called the Grand Opera.

The model has a dial that consists of three levels set at the base with blued screws. It features an in-built music box with tiny steel ‘keys’.

The Grand Opera’s musical movement has 17 notes which are delicately struck, playing The Magic Flute by Mozart. The melody begins on pressing the button positioned at 5 o’clock.

The time zone with the calendar display is positioned at 9 o’clock and is presented on a deeper level than the main dial.

The watch has a genuine alligator leather strap with a butterfly buckle and is a limited edition with only 99 pieces created, available in black, stainless steel or two tone combinations.
