Supermodel Bar Refaeli has joined the ranks of Hublot’s brand ambassadors and shut down New York’s Fifth Avenue in the process.
Hublot introduced Refaeli in New York on the first day of New York Fashion Week by hosting a media event with fellow brand ambassador, Miami Heat basketball player Dwyane Wade.
Biver and Hublot chief executive officer of Hublot, Ricardo Guadalupe, unveiled Refaeli as the new face of the brand’s women’s campaign.
Guadalupe said: “In 2015, Hublot will dedicate ourselves to our ladies’ collection, and our female customers will see a series of new timepieces that will embody the notion of the Art of Fusion, where innovation meets luxury and fashion. Bar is the perfect partner with whom we can convey this message on an international level.”
Refaeli said: “I’m extremely excited to be the first female face for the Hublot brand. I’ve been a huge fan for many years and am so proud to be a part of the family now."
Refaeli is LVMH watch boss Jean-Claude Biver’s second supermodel signing of 2015, having recently unveiled Cara Delevingne as LVMH stablemate TAG Heuer’s latest ambassador.
