Bezel Watches adds Jean Paul Gaultier to its fledgling distribution business

Bezel Watches, a newly formed subsidiary of fragrance distribution giant Kenneth Green Associates, has added Jean Paul Gaultier timepieces to its portfolio.

Kenneth Green Associates is a £75 million distributor for the majority of perfumes and fragrances from major fashion houses ranging from Bulgari to Van Cleef & Arpels.

Jean Paul Gaultier joins Roberto Cavalli and Just Cavalli watches for the distributor. Bezel Watches says it has already used its relationships with major department stores to secure Fenwick in London as a retailer for the collections.

House of Fraser and Debenhams are also key targets for the fashion watches. Eventually, Bezel Watches hopes to place its own salaried employees into these department stores to sell its watch collections, a tactic that it employs with considerable success with fragrances.

The distributor exhibited at International Jeweller London this week, where a spokesperson said that the watches from Jean Paul Gaultier, Roberto Cavalli and Just Cavalli are grabbing the attention of independent and multiple retailers.

Jean Paul Gaultier watches are priced in the region of £200-400, and carry a number of design elements from the fashion house such as the sailor strips that are instantly associated with the brand.
