Bering has appointed Ian Latham as its new UK country manager following the departure of Richard Hill back in October.
Latham, who takes up the position with immediate effect, has been part of Bering’s UK team since the watch and jewellery brand first launched in the UK two years ago.
He is described by Bering as ‘a vital asset’, having been ‘instrumental’ in building the brand’s presence in the UK, which currently amounts to more than 400 retailers.
Lars Skjønnemann, Bering president and co-founder, has been working closely with Ian over the last few weeks and is more than confident that his new managerial position will ensure future growth for Bering.
Skjønnemann told WatchPro.com: “We have actively been working on a new structure for the UK that will meet the demands of our customers. Expectations are high with new plans and goals being implemented at the start of 2015. Ian was an extremely strong contender for the position, understanding the Bering DNA and eager to move us forward. I am extremely happy to welcome Ian to his new position and myself and the whole Bering team look forward to working alongside him immensely.”
