Bell & Ross has crafted a limited edition carbon watch to honour the Royal Air Force pilots who served during the Second World War.

The Vintage BR 126 Original Carbon Insignia, limited to just 99 pieces, features the RAF roundel on the dial and combines the French watch brand’s associations with military history and aviation.

While the 41mm chronograph uses the latest technologies the inspiration for the design comes from timepieces of the 1940s.The highly legible dial and matte black PVD finish are both reminiscent of cockpit instruments. Chronograph sub registers record both 60 seconds and 30 minutes.

Both the white hands and the dial indices are coated in a photo-luminescent material ensuring optimum legibility in all light conditions while the curved, anti-reflective sapphire crystal gives the watch a vintage feel.

With automatic movement and black rubber strap, the steel-cased watch is water resistant to 100m. The BR126 Insignia will only be sold in the UK and will retail for £3,200.
