Baume & Mercier is celebrating its 185th anniversary this year with this solid gold, limited edition Clifton 8-Day Power Reserve.
Limited to 185 pieces, the Clifton 8-Day Power Reserve features a mix of polished and satin-finished surfaces and a domed opaline silver-coloured dial reflecting the domed sapphire crystal above.
At the heart of the 45.5mm 18ct red gold watch is a mechanical, hand-wound manufacture movement with hacking seconds and eight-day power reserve, indicated on the dial, adjacent to a small seconds.
The 192 hour power reserve is achieved using a single barrel and the balance locks when it becomes sufficiently depleted to stop the watch and prevent inaccurate timekeeping.
Movement decoration includes perlage on the mainplate and Côtes de Genève on the bridges whilst the watch is presented on a black alligator strap, secured with an 18ct red gold pin buckle.
The Baume & Mercier Clifton 8-Day Power Reserve will sell in the UK for £11,800.
