Bamford ramps up range of service pieces with colourful launch

Luxury watch brand Bamford Watch Department has built on the success of its namesake collection by ramping up its variety of colours, while still delivering on customisation.

The latest editions to the Bamford Mayfair range comprise a hot pink piece and a bright yellow, as well as the ‘Territory Pack’, which features dials in khaki, earth dial and grey.

All the newly-released Mayfairs, like their predecessors, feature a matte black case and bezel, while some of pieces are adorned with white indexes and hands, and other in black.

“The Bamford Mayfair has evolved quite literally on my wrist,” said brand owner, Mr Bamford. “When I handed my own watch in for a service and put on the ‘service watch’ I learnt very quickly how much I loved it and I did not want to take it off. I knew we had to create a watch which developed and improved the original design and it is really exciting to offer this new range of watch.”

All the pieces in the collection use the quartz Miyota 2035 movement in a stainless steel case and will sell online at Mrporter.com and directly from BWD, where an online customiser allows customers to design their watches, including changing the strap from the choices of leather, fabric or rubber.

The company has assured this £425 collection, which has the option of being engraved, will be in customers’ hands before Valentine’s Day.
