Baldessarini distributor to push online marketing

Pranda UK, the jewellery and watch distributor which oversees Baldessarini watches in the UK, has announced that it is investing heavily in a new website and new online marketing initiatives to strengthen the relations it has with its customers.

The company says that, following growth over the past five years, it has now taken time out to invest in a new website – due for launch in Q3 – as well as a blog and improved social media feeds to help keep customers up-to-date with its brands.

The update will allow users of its site to view its Twitter stream, stockist information and have a search function enabling the public to look up stockists.

A release from Pranda UK said: “This has been designed to give customers a place to go for further information on Pranda UK brands and for the latest news, which will help current stockists increase sales.

“Alongside the blog, [we] are making it easier for stockists to have as much information to hand as possible in relation to the Pranda UK brands they stock. A media pack will be made available for stockists to request, whereby they can select the marketing materials to use.”

Pranda UK says it is “investing both time and money” to push its brands further in the UK to “really strengthen” and cements its customer relations.

The company says that it has had successful appearances with its watch and jewellery brands, which include the V&A Museum’s collection of jewellery, Cai Jewels and Blossom, at BaselWorld in March and the The Jewellery Show at Spring Fair in February.

Baldessarini watches are sold in the UK through retailers including W.B. Gatward & Son, Brufords and Identity the Jewellers.
