Audemars Piguet re-launches in Scotland with Rox

Scottish luxury jeweller ROX has been selected as the partner for Audemars Piguet’s re-launch in Scotland.

Set to launch next month, ROX’s flagship boutique at Glasgow’s historic Argyll Arcade will house the iconic watchmaking brand in Scotland.

Founded in 1875 by Jules Louis Audemars and Edward Auguste Piguet, Audemars Piguet claims to be the oldest fine watchmaking manufacturer never to have left the hands of its founding families.

One of the brand’s most famous watches to date is the first ever luxury stainless steel sports watch, the Royal Oak, which launched in 1972.

Audemars Piguet attracts a loyal high profile audience including legendary footballer Leo Messi, tennis champion Serena Williams and professional golfer Lee Westwood amongst the devoted wearers of the luxury brand.

Kyron Keogh, managing director at ROX, said Audemars Piguet was an authority in watchmaking: “Audemars Piguet is one of the most well-known and sought-after watch brands in the world. We’ve been discussing this exciting partnership with Audemars Piguet for several years so, to be the chosen retailer of the brand at our flagship Argyll Arcade boutique, is one of ROX’s biggest moments.”
