Antiquorum amasses broad mix of Rolex models for next week’s Monaco auction

Antiquorum is drumming up global interest in three days of auctions in Monaco next week, with a clutch of Rolex Daytona watches certain to catch the eye of trade buyers and collectors.

Online bids are being accepted now for sales on July 17, 18 and 19 that include fine jewelry, prestige timepieces, modern art and a specialist sale of vintage Porsche motorcars.

The auction on the first two days, Tuesday and Wednesday, is titled Rare Watches, Fine Jewels and Modern Art, and includes 125 Rolex models with estimates ranging  from $1300 for a pink Air King up to $250,000 for a 1952 REF. 6036 Jean-Claude Killy in yellow gold (pictured below).

Day three, Thursday July 19, is the specialist auction for Porsche 911s and Rolex Daytonas that has 23 Daytonas on the block.

The most expensive lot of the day is a 1975 race-ready Porsche 911 Carrera 3.0 RSR with an estimate of $1.2 to $1.8 million.

But the watches are not far behind, with the highest pre-sale estimate attached to this Paul Newman Daytona from 1969 (Reference N. 6239) in gold. The piece is expected to fetch $380.000 to $580,000.
