Andy Murray loses his Rado at US Open

Just moments after winning the US Open yesterday Andy Murray’s thoughts from winning to worrying as the tennis star started to shout about his missing watch.

Murray signed a deal with Swatch Group-owned Rado back in June to become an ambassador and reports have speculated that it was a Rado D-Star Chronograph that the player was struggling to find.

He was clearly filmed asking where his watch was and saying that he didn’t have it. The US Open winner was then seen rummaging in his bag looking for the watch.

Luckily the sportsman found his Rado before it was time to pick up the trophy and had it firmly wrapped round his wrist.

Murray was also pictured wearing the watch at a huge press photocall in Central Park and continued to wear the timepiece on a New York City trophy tour and on the CBD This Morning show although during filming he wore his sleeves long.

Rado issued a statement yesterday praising the achievements of its ambassador. Rado chief executive Matthias Breschan said: "What an amazing match and what a fantastic year it has been for him. At Rado we are hugely proud and in awe of this latest achievement."
