Salon QP opened its doors to the luxury watch industry at Chelsea’s Saatchi Gallery last night with a host of new product launches and new distribution deals headlining.
Roger Smith, who is exhibiting at the show with auction house Phillips, perhaps the world’s most renowned watchmaker, launched not one but three new models at the show. Smith’s Series 2 has been his sole collection timepiece for a number of years but it is now joined by Series 1, 3 and 4. The new pieces see Smith add power reserve, date track and moonphase complications to his most exclusive of offers.
Smith told WatchPro that producing the new models would have the added benefit of giving his small team more variety in their working day.
Swiss brand Vulcain officially announced its long-awaited arrival in the UK with distributor Page & Cooper who will be representing the historic company in the UK and seeking new retail partners.
Chronoswiss too announced that it is now working with Fogg Distribution and its founder Tiago Sa-Henriques in the UK. The Swiss brand is looking to increase its presence in the UK market by growing its list of UK partners.
