Leicester-based Time Products has reported a hugely encouraging first full year for its most recent brand acquisition, Accurist.
The brand was sold to Marcus Margulies’ company early in 2014 and since then it has undergone an overhaul to make it as attractive as possible to both retailers and the end consumer.
As well as unveiling a TV advertising campaign, launching a new responsive website and re-branding the colour scheme, point of sale display and even the logo, another part of the strengthening process has been a key focus on product development. Evidence of this is seen in the fact that the team has hired an additional watch designer.
The range has been expanded in all product areas but especially within the contemporary and vintage collections. Time Products found a winning formula with a number of key new designs introduced prior to Christmas last year and its aim is to further develop these styles and cement the new Accurist DNA.
The Autumn/ Winter 16 newness will see a number of new contemporary 9ct gold timepieces introduced.
