Lots including a Rolex Sea Dweller have been estimated to go for more than £750,000 in Phillips’ Geneva Watch auction ‘Eight’ next month.
Between November 10-11, watch enthusiasts and collectors alike will be tuned into proceedings at Hotel la Reserve in Geneva as watches from Patek Philippe, Omega and Audemars Piguet are set to fetch some hefty sums.
The top Patek piece is a rare perpetual calendar wristwatch in platinum featuring a 36mm dial, expected to go for between £540,000 and £770,000.
Rolex and Patek Philippe are set to dominate the auction with a piece by either of the Swiss-based brands being in the top 20 highest price lots.
The first let up in the trend is an Omega Speedmaster Broad Arrow, expected to go for around £200,000.
