Montblanc introduces new design concept at refurbished Bond Street boutique

It is 25 years since Montblanc opened its first boutique in the UK, and the Richemont brand has been expanding its coverage ever since with several additional monobrand stores in London, concessions in Harrods and Selfridges, and a network or retail partners including Beards, Bradley’s, Jamieson & Carry, Lunns, Watches of Switzerland and Weirs.

25 years-on and the brand has re-opened its flagship boutique on New Bond Street in London following a major refurbishment.

Over three months, the former Georgian townhouse has been transformed by a new boutique concept conceived by French interiors architect Noé Duchafour- Lawrance. The new space, totalling 1,521 sq. feet, showcases Montblanc’s collections of pens, watches, leather goods and accessories over two floors.

Montblanc set out to strike a balance between contemporary design and classical elegance in a store that offers customers a multi-sensory experience as they are taken on a journey of discovery into the heart of the Montblanc.

“Reflecting the Maison’s constant quest for purposeful and aesthetic innovations, our latest retail space embodies the Montblanc of today, and the vision of tomorrow as the Maison continues to push the boundaries of technology and design,” says Nicolas Baretzki, Montblanc International CEO.

The ground floor is dominated by a gallery table dedicated to watches. Downstairs, a Manufacture Bar invites customers to engage with product experts.
