Sennan fielding togoen

16-year-old Ginetta driver joins Team Torgoen

Torgoen Swiss UK has welcomed 16-year-old racing driver Sennan Fileding to its Team Torgoen race line-up, as part of its development to build links with the motorsport world in the UK.

The young Ginetta Junior front-runner driver will now be sponsored by the watch brand, joining other drivers in the Torgoen team, led by BTCC Champion Matt Neal and runner-up Gordon Shedden.

Pete Carmichael, business development director at Since 1853, the distributor of Torgoen in the UK said: “Torgoen Swiss has built strong links in motorsport over the past 12 months and we are looking to expand on these foundations as we continue to grow as a brand in the UK.

“The precision and quality which are so synonymous with motorsport and the drivers who compete are a perfect fit with the Torgoen Swiss brand. Sennan is a driver we have long admired and he exhibits the ‘nothing impossible’ mantra of the brand with his never-say-die sprit and high speed driving.”

Carmichael added that the brand and Since 1853 are “very excited” to partner with Fielding, who will drive with the Torgoen logo on his Ginetta G40 car and race overalls for the remainder of the season.

Other drivers in the team include Mazda racer Jack Hawksworth and go-karter Jordan Chamberlain.

Fielding said: “I’m really excited to be joining the likes of Matt Neal and Gordon Shedden as part of Team Torgoen Swiss UK. I have had a great start to the season and I hope to win the Ginetta Junior Championship and celebrate with Torgoen Swiss.”
