IWI Watches, the British brand with that supports UK racing, has said that it will continue its partnership with female racing driver Alice Powell for another season.
IWI will follow Powell during the 2012 GP3 Race series including a racw at Monaco.
IWI Watches have sponsored Powell for the last three years and has said it is “proud of her climbing up the ranks following her Formula Renault BARC Championship win in 2010”.
Ian Walsh, founder of IWI said: "I feel very proud to be supporting Alice, she's a great ambassador for IWI Watches and she will be putting us on a world stage throughout the season.
“Alice has all the potential to get to F1 and I will be backing her all the way."
Powell has just complete her first weekend of the season, where she finished 11th overall having started in 25th position on the grid.
Powell said:"A huge thanks to IWI Watches who have helped me to get on the grid. I have only had one test in the car, so I will be the least experienced driver, in terms of seat time in the car, but I am going to give it everything to get some good results this year"
