The Omega Skywalker X-33 Solar Impulse Limited Edition is Omega’s wrist-bound celebration of the brand’s partnership with the Solar Impulse project, which aims to fly around the world in a single flight using solar power, to which Omega has contributed numerous pieces of technology.
The 45mm watch head uses a Grade 2 titanium case that weighs just 59g and its ceramic bezel features a white Super-LumiNova coated minute scale. The watch’s 24 hour, alarm, chronograph and perpetual calendar functions are presented using analogue hands and digital displays. Omega will exhibit in Hall 1.0 – C25d at Baselworld 2015.
